The advent of digital humanities has revolutionized traditional research methodologies, offering novel tools and approaches that enhance the analysis and interpretation of cultural and historical data. The University of Warwick, renowned for its interdisciplinary research, provides a fertile ground for exploring these impacts. This study aims to investigate how digital humanities influence research methodologies at the University of Warwick, assessing the integration of digital tools in enhancing analytical precision and expanding research horizons. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study combines qualitative interviews with Warwick researchers and quantitative analysis from the survey. We conducted semi-structured interviews with 15 faculty members and researchers from the University of Warwick and distributed a structured online survey where a total of 200 responses were collected. The research examines the adoption of digital tools, shifts in research focus, and collaborative practices across various disciplines. The study reveals that digital humanities significantly enhance data accessibility and analytical depth, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. Researchers report improved efficiencies through the use of digital archives and data visualization tools. However, challenges remain, including the need for technical training and addressing digital divides. The findings underscore the transformative impact of digital humanities on research practices. Institutions are encouraged to invest in digital infrastructure and training, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration. Emphasizing digital literacy can bridge gaps and further enrich academic inquiry.
